Wasaga Beach 5&6 and Allenwood Beach on Georgian Bay
Location: Wasaga beach at Georgian Bay Lake.
Kiting activities: Water kite boarding, land boarding and buggy kiting, windsurfing.
Rider skills/level: Beginner with instructor, intermediate, advanced must have to self-rescue experience.
Water conditions: Usually choppy smaller waves that can reach up to 3m on stronger winds over 25knots. Shallow, 15km long beach with clean freshwater. In the summer gets crowded with swimmers and not recommended for solo beginners. You must be able stay upwind away from swimmers buoys.
Launch: Great sandy beach with a lots of space for kite setup and launch with or without assistance. The ministry has placed sign with rules and restrictions for kiteboarders. Please, read them first before using this beach!
Wind direction: The best winds for this spot are W, NW, N.

Parking: Pay parking along the road and organized protected provincial park picnic area parking. Unpaid parking will be ticketed and towed.
How to get here: Drive on Hwy 26 and follow sign To Wasaga Beach.
