Cobourg Beach Kiting on Lake Ontario
Location: Cobourg, Perry Street and Paul Currelly Way.
Kiting activities: Water kiteboarding
Rider skills/level: Beginner with instructor, intermediate, advanced must have to self-rescue experience.
Water conditions: Flat to small waves that can get bigger on stronger winds. Shallow water for 15 meters only, then deep. Beginers kite with instructor only. In the summer time gets crowded with swimmers.
Launch: Sandy beach for about 200 meters with lifeguard towers garbage bins and trees. Walking across with your kite up can be dangerous. During summer days may be crowded with beach walkers and swimmers.
Wind direction: All south winds: S, SW, SE.

Parking: Paid parking. Free parking avaliable on Perry Street, north of the beach.
How to get here: From Toronto go on 401 East. Take exit #472 for Burnham St., continue on William St. Turn left on King St., then right on Church St.
